HubSpot Report: How to Exclude Traffic from Analytics?

**Log In to Your HubSpot Account**: Start by signing into your HubSpot account.
**Access the Settings Menu**: Look for the settings icon in the main navigation bar, usually represented by a gear icon.
**Navigate to Tracking & Analytics**: In the settings menu, find and click on “Tracking & Analytics” located on the sidebar. This section is where you can manage settings related to data collection and analytics.
**Select the Website Tab**: Within Tracking & Analytics, go to the "Website" tab to access website analytics settings.
**Go to Exclude Traffic**: Look for an option labeled “Exclude Traffic” (this might be under "Advanced Options" or a similar subsection depending on your HubSpot version). This feature allows you to specify criteria for excluding traffic from being counted in your analytics.
**Exclude by IP Address**: One common method to exclude traffic is by IP address. You can add the IP addresses of your office, employees' homes, or any location you don’t want to be included in your analytics. Simply enter the IP addresses you wish to exclude and save your changes.
**Consider Using HubSpot's IP Filtering**: HubSpot may offer automatic IP filtering to exclude known bot traffic and potentially provide options to exclude locations based on other criteria.
**Review and Update Regularly**: It’s a good practice to review and update your excluded traffic settings regularly. This ensures that your analytics remain accurate and reflective of genuine visitor activity.
**Check Analytics Accuracy**: After excluding traffic, monitor your analytics to ensure that the exclusion rules are correctly applied and that your data reflects genuine user interactions.
